Get Help or Give Help: Neighbors Helping Neighbors

Spearheaded by our fellow neighbors in response to the effects of COVID-19, a new initiative called "Neighbors Helping Neighbors" was started in April 2020.

Do you need assistance in getting groceries, over-the-counter medications, or other small items?  Do you need help around the outside of your house or yard?

Verona Hills HOA is coordinating volunteer efforts to offer free deliveries and other household assistance for our most at-risk residents facing COVID-19.

Please note this program is for our elderly neighbors, those with physical, health or immune deficiencies or those who are in physician ordered quarantine.

Request a delivery of supplies, groceries, OTC medications or whatever else you may need. We will do our best to connect you to a neighborhood volunteer who will bring it to your doorstep, making sure to practice the CDC’s guidelines on safe social distancing. Delivery is free, easy, safe and confidential.

Email VeronaHillsN2N@gmail.com or call/text 816-535-0644. We will work with you to get the supplies or assistance you need and will provide instructions regarding next steps.

Or do you have some time to help?

This program will rely entirely on the interest of volunteers in our neighborhood. Whether you have a lot of time to give or just a half hour, we need you!

If you are able to help our most at-risk neighbors with items they need while they are sheltering in place, please complete a Google Form at: https://bit.ly/3arZDYe

Please indicate on the form all the times that you would potentially be available. If we contact you and you are not available at that time, that’s okay. We will simply move to the next person on the list.

Send all questions or concerns to VeronaHillsN2N@gmail.com. Fellow neighbors who are leading this project will respond to you as quickly as possible.
